WD, I agree with you, that using a racing FUEL such as Nitro-Methane, would certainly give the Savage an increase in power. We have gas stations where I live that sell; REGULAR, PLUS, PREMIUM and RACING grade gasoline. The difference is in the octane rating. I misunderstood, your statement that racing gas would be an improvement. I figured that you were referring to HIGH octane gasoline.
My Savage does not leak even when using synthetic oil. Synthetic oil lasts longer, (in my non-leaking cycle) because it does not burn away like petroleum oil, around the hot spots, such as rings and valves. The sythetic oil also resists viscosity breakdown from heat and sheering action as compared to petroleum oil.
